Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Sep. 7, 2016 (Deadline Sep. 5) Montgomery: Hyundai Field Trip

This trip will be rescheduled due to health concerns at the plant.  New date TBA.  

 Kick off your homeschool year with this great field trip to the Montgomery, Alabama Hyundai Auto Manufacturing plant.

When: Wednesday, September 7, 2016
Time: 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Where: 700 Hyundai Blvd, Montgomery, Alabama 36105

Clothing should be modest with comfortable shoes. Part of the tour is outside so please plan for rain wear if inclement weather is anticipated.

Please arrive in the HMMA parking lot 15-30 minutes before your tour time--no earlier. If you arrive more than 30 minutes you will be asked to wait outside of the gate or return at the 30 minute point. This will allow you time to walk into the building, get your tour badge and look around for a few minutes. Restrooms are available before and after the tour only. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate. No video cameras, backpacks, briefcases or laptops allowed.
