Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Bham Area: French Tutor

Bonjour les amis! Hello my friends! Do you want the best for your children? Why not encourage them to learn or master an additional language such as FRENCH?

Benefits: Make them smarter, inspire natural curiosity, have better job opportunities, enjoy their stay in francophone countries and more.

Age group: From 5 to 18 years old.

Target audience: Birmingham Homeschoolers and unschoolers.

Instructor’s goals: Tutor/teach French in a classroom setting (2 to 8 students maximum) or one-to-one, once or twice a week for 1 hour maximum. Help interested kids, teens and young adults read, write and speak FRENCH very well.

Payment method: Monthly by Cash or cheque to be paid the first class of the month.

Location: The instructor is mobile. She can teach at the comfort of your home or at her place (in Homewood, AL) if preferred.

Time: The instructor is available from Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm all year long. Please contact the instructor with your preferred day/time.

Instructor: Adrienne Kalamba is a native French speaker. She has a B.A. (Honours) in Psychology with a Bilingual (English and French) Certificate in Public Administration and Policy from York University (Toronto, Canada). Prior to moving to Birmingham, AL, she has lived, worked and stayed in many francophone countries including Canada, France, Belgium and D.R. Congo.
