The Calhoun Community College Tech Prep program invites you and your students to view the workplace of the future at the 2017 CAREER & WORKFORCE EXPO.
This year’s Expo is scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Kelley Gymnasium on the Calhoun-Decatur campus.
Each year over 1,100 students, parents and educators from seven school systems and private and homeschools in Morgan, Limestone, Madison and Lawrence county attend the Expo. The event brings together employers with the future, and student participation is vital to success of this event. Teachers, counselors, parents and Calhoun students are invited to attend.
Individual students and families do not need to register to attend.
Want to know what area businesses and industries are looking for in future employees? Need to know what skills and soft skills your students need to make them employable? Then the 2017 Workforce Expo is right for you. The success of the Expo will depend on the participation of our area schools, businesses and industries, and we hope you will be able to take part.
If you have questions concerning the event, please contact Gwen Baker, Calhoun Tech Prep, at 256-306-2665, email at firstname.lastname@example.org; or Heath Daws, Dual Enrollment Advisor/Recruiter, at 256-306-2671 or via email at email@example.com.
