Hi, my name is Samantha Moore. I have two wonderfully strange children that call me mom, momma, and mommy (depending on their mood). We have lived in Madison all of our lives, but have recently started our adventure out here in Scottsboro. I used to be the type of person who thought that homeschool sounded like a good idea but not something that I was capable of doing, that is until my son was two. My kids have always been homeschooled, but it was a decision that scared the life out of me. I didn't want to make a mistake when it came to something this big. I am more confident in that choice everyday. My kids are now nine and ten, and they are as different as night and day. I have learned the more frightening something is usually equates to the more worth it holds. Our family is eclectic, and I strongly encourage lifetime learning in my children. I am usually working on learning something. Right now I am working on getting my real estate license. I enjoy photography, cooking, and love, love, love theatre. My kids have different and constantly changing interests. As of now, my daughter enjoys art, theatre, scouts, cheer, cooking, and anything else she can be involved in. My son enjoys video games, cooking, and want to specifically learn the art of bar-b-queing. One thing my whole family has in common is we love animals. I look forward to meeting more families and getting to know my newfound community.
