Good morning Home School families,
Audubon Art Contest 2019-2020: https://oxbow.columbusstate.edu/audubon-art-contest/
Disclaimer: Though the instruction document and website say Muscogee County, we are open to submissions from nearby Alabama schools as well. The event is hosted in Muscogee County.
I hope this email finds you well. We would like to formally invite our Everest Home School friends to participate in an exciting, multi-disciplinary contest hosted by Oxbow Meadows in partnership with the Columbus Audubon Society. One of the principal purposes of this event is to encourage students to learn about birds, their beauty, and their role in the natural world.
The Columbus Chapter of the National Audubon Society and Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center are co-sponsoring an Art Show and Contest on Saturday, March 14, 2020. This event is open to all public, private, and home schooled students residing in Muscogee County in grades K-12. Entries will be divided into the following grade groupings for judging: K‑2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Ribbons will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category.
Please see the attached information sheet and submission form. We look forward to seeing the creations your students make!
Sincerely,
Ashley Herbolich
