Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

July 2021, Madison: Around the World Camps

Around the World Camp

Come join us as we explore the rich traditions of music, visual arts, dance, theater, and folk stories from eight different regions of the world this summer.  Rising kindergarten through fifth graders will journey around the world by learning about one culture each day of camp.  In addition to all of our fun hands-on culture activities, traditional American summer camp games and songs will make this camp a journey to remember all year.  Make sure to wear clothes you can move in and bring a water bottle as you set off on your adventure!  A snack will be provided during each camp.  Masks will be required.  This camp will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays in July from 9 am - 12 pm at Fitness Arts Center in Madison.  You may sign up for individual weeks or for the whole month.
