Children’s Summer Camp Programs
June 10th & 11th, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, 20th Annual Cullman Touring Farms for Kids: Two days of farm tours in Cullman County. We will meet all different types of farmers and tour their farms. Food and t-shirts provided. Paying parents are welcome to attend, but may need to drive separately. Ages 7 to 13, $25.00 per person. Registration required at Agriplex.org.
July 14th & 15th, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Nature Day Camp: Day camp exploring our natural world and the Native American heritage with adventure activities such as hiking, canoeing, heritage crafts & storytelling. Ages 10-14. $35.00 per person. Registration required at Agriplex.org
July 19th-23rd, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Sewing Camp 101: This camp is designed for children interested in learning to sew. Campers will learn the basics of hand sewing while making projects to take home. Ages 8 & up, adults must attend with children under 9. $40.00 per person. Registration required at Agriplex.org.
July 26th-30th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Sewing Camp 102: Designed for Sewing Camp alumni who want to expand their sewing skills by reviewing hand stitching & moving on to machine sewing with fun take home projects. Each camper will need to bring their own machine. Ages 9-18, must complete Sewing Camp 101. $40.00 per person. Registration required at Agriplex.org.
Saturdays, beginning at 9:00am at Festhalle Farmers Market, Power of Produce (POP): Kids up to age 12 can sample fresh produce while earning market money (pop bucks) to buy produce from local farmers.
Thursdays, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Yoga under the Pavilion, Join us for a beginner yoga class in the serenity of nature. $5.00 per person, summer family special of $10 per family. Ages 10 & up, must be able to follow along with class. No registration required. Please bring your yoga mat & water.
