Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

March 3, 2023 Bham: Alabama Ballet Presents Cinderalla

 

 

Dear Director/Educator,

Alabama Ballet is pleased to announce our next FREE Student Show Matinees for our 2022-2023 season!  We hope your students, kindergarten through 12th grade, can join us for one of our major productions this season.  We know that you understand the importance of exposing your students to the arts and we appreciate that you recognize the benefits of bringing them to see our professional ballet company perform classical and contemporary works. 

 

Next up is Cinderella! 

 

The timeless tale of Cinderella is transfigured through classical ballet with elegant dancing, spectacular costumes, and stunning scenery. This story-book ballet follows Cinderella in her magical encounter with the charming Prince as we meet her fairy godmother and ugly stepsisters along the way; all before the ominous stroke of the clock chiming midnight.

Coppelia and the Toy Maker – Friday, June 2, 10 AM – BJCC Concert Hall

 

  • Pricing is as follows:  Students – Free, Teachers - $25 and Chaperones - $25.  We also have special pricing for senior groups of just $25 each.  To make reservations go to https://alabamaballet.org/school-show-matinee/ and fill out the form.
  • No physical tickets are sent.  Seating assignments will be given week of show along with parking instructions, etc.
  • * HOMESCHOOL DIRECTORS:  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS.  TEACHERS SHOULD NOT INVITE FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT HOMESCHOOLING A KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 12 STUDENT.
  • *All payments are to be made 21 days prior to the performance.  No refunds.
  • *We will be following CDC Guidelines or local mandates for safety.
