Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

March 24 & 25, 2023: Birmingham Homeschool Fair


BIRMINGHAM HOMESCHOOL FAIR

HIGHLANDS COLLEGE, BIRMINGHAM

COST: $50 through March 1st, then $75

The Birmingham Homeschool Fair is shaping up to be a premiere event for inspiring, encouraging, informing, and connecting the homeschool community. With a Dad's Track of breakout sessions, parents will find resources that minister to their needs regardless of ages or stages. Our goal is to celebrate together and impart "anchor points" to help us stand firm in our commitment to educate and parent our children. We've also secured a group rate at the Marriott, but there are lots of hotel options near the college if you are traveling in from out of town. The first session begins at 1pm on March 24, and the last session will end at 5pm on March 25.
