Everest Academy: Rise Therapy Services: Handwriting Help

Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Rise Therapy Services: Handwriting Help

Rise Therapy Services provides group and one-on-one handwriting help for children three and up. We can help and support foundational skills, including prewriting and fine motor skills, muscle strength, coordination, motor planning, and handwriting development. We work with each child and their specific needs and strength profile to develop writing skills in print, cursive, and written expression in fun and engaging ways. We are certified Occupational Therapists and Handwriting Specialists with advanced training and certifications, specifically in working with children and teens with learning differences. Insurance can cover/partially cover one-on-one intervention, but we offer group sessions and parent classes. Please contact us in any of the following ways for more information.
