Everest Academy is a ministry of Everest Family Church in Hayden. We offer freedom along with quality resources, information, activities and support to those homeschooling in Alabama. We believe that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off church "cover" school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

Christmas is just around the corner, and Santa is visiting the Alabama Nature Center! Enjoy a sleigh ride,

create a festive ornament, embark on a nature hike, participate in story time, and snap a photo with Santa

after sharing your holiday wishes! This magical day was inspired by the beloved book "Bear Snores On" by Karma Wilson.

$12/student | No charge for chaperones

Program time is 11:30am-2:00pm
*You can bring a picnic lunch and arrive at 10:45am to eat before the program begins or if you eat lunch before arrival,

you should arrive no later than 11:15am to check in. The program will begin promptly at 11:30 am!

*Only children who purchase a ticket will be permitted to participate in the program activities to ensure plenty of supplies are on hand, including visiting with Santa, etc.
