As a statewide church school, Everest Academy strives to provide as many opportunities as possible throughout the state of Alabama. To help coordinate activities such as fieldtrips, co-ops/workshops/classes, social events, and more, Everest currently has a group of dedicated homeschooling moms known as Team Everest. The Team Everest ladies help plan activities throughout the state...and sometimes even out of state!
Highlights of past years include: Fun Friday events in Shoals, PARTIES! for holidays and beginning/ending of school year, Earth Day celebration, college tour series, and lots of social opportunities for homeschool children.
Please remember that the Team Everest ladies are Activity Coordinators and not part of administration. Please do not contact these ladies for issues concerning paperwork, transcripts, grading, etc. Also, please note that the location listed with each lady's name is the area in which she resides, but she may plan activities and make contacts anywhere in the state of Alabama…or out of state! Everest families are free to contact &/or attend events planned by any coordinator—not just the coordinator who is nearest them.
