The Alabama Branch of the International Dyslexia Association is having a two-day conference at the Orange Beach Event Center on October 12-13. For the first time, we are offering a special track for parents and a special track for students in grades 1-12. (Parents and students may, of course, attend any sessions they desire.) As a homeschooling parent of three boys (one with dyslexia) for the past 8 years, I know that many of us elect to homeschool our children because of unmet dyslexia challenges and the need to ensure that we equip our children to rise to those challenges.
